A good article for future road trips. A nice surprise was the mention of stopping in South Bend to visit the University of Notre Dame. A special place.
On another note, any plans to port some functionality over to a tablet? I use the OneNote IPad app to access trip data on the road. It would be nice to store even a static S&T map on SkyDrive and access the map on the IPad. Right now booting up the laptop to access the S&T map with POI’s is time consuming.
Thanks for all your work on a great product! S&T 2013 is waiting on my desk to be installed./ cel
If you want S&T running on a tablet just make sure it is a Windows tablet like the upcoming Surface. There is a new OS version called Window RT which was designed for ARM devices. S&T will not install on a Windows RT device.
Oh please because your team produces S&T, can’t you work with the Speech team at Microsoft to include the Windows 8 voices for downlevel OSes like Windows 7 and Vista? At least Microsoft David and preferably Zira too?
